Oh my! What a day it was to spend with Becky & Josh while they tied the knot! These two love birds have been together for 12 years since they were in high school. They have waited super patiently to go ahead and throw a huge celebration with family and friends to celebrate their big day and I'd say it was totally worth it! It didn't come without hiccups for these two but they made it work and moved their big day from Rochester, NY to Buffalo, NY with ease.
The day of their wedding was such a blast! We started off getting ready with the bride and her bridesmaids. Hair and Makeup was done by Charlene at Teez hairstylist and bridal specialist. Becky spent a few minutes unwrapping a very special gift from her bridesmaids to her. Afterwards her mother and twin sister Amanda helped her get into her dress and put all of her jewelry on. Dad waited patiently to see his daughter for the first time. It didn't go off with out a few tears, but it was such a great moment!
We headed off to the ceremony at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church. That place is awesome by the way if you're looking for a beautiful streamlined, clean white church! The ceremony was beautiful and included lighting of the unity candle and a sweet little first kiss!
After the ceremony was over, we headed out to Delaware Park near Hoyt Lake and the Albright Knox to grab some photos of the bridal party and the two of them. It was a nice day, a little hot but man did these two do such a great job of having a blast and enjoying every moment! I'm sure you can tell by the pictures!
After we were done at the park we headed over to the Tonawanda Castle for their reception. That place is pretty neat as well. It's super open, high ceilings, tons of space and has some neat little spots to take photos everywhere! The food was fantastic, the dancing was off the hook and we even played a little game of shoely weds! At the end of the night after the speeches were done, the cake had been cut and everyone was nice and full, we headed outside to grab one last shot of the couple before we were done. Thanks to my wonderful assistant Bryan we were able to grab a really great one!
To everyone that was a part of Becky & Josh's big day, you guys ROCK! It was such a beautiful celebration and I had such a great time. I hope you enjoyed reading along, LIVE.LAUGH.PHOTO. <3 Ariel
