Some couples just radiate joy, and Lydia & Richard are exactly that! From the moment they reached out, I knew their couples session at Delaware Park was going to be something special. When I asked what made them choose me, Lydia’s response made my heart so happy—she told me that my tagline, “LIVE.LAUGH.PHOTO. Love, Ariel”, truly resonated with them. They wanted a session full of laughter, real moments, and genuine connection—and that’s exactly what we created!
Lydia & Richard’s love story brought them all the way from Mississippi to Buffalo, NY after Richard was stationed in Niagara Falls. They’ve been happily married for 10 months, and their love is so easygoing and fun—exactly the kind of couple I LOVE photographing!
We chose Delaware Park as the backdrop for their session, and it was perfect. With its diverse scenery historic architecture, and peaceful vibes, it gave us the perfect mix of romantic and playful settings.
From the start, Lydia & Richard were all smiles. They showed up ready to have fun, which is the best way to approach a photo session! We spent the entire shoot laughing, spinning, twirling, and just soaking in the moment. Richard kept Lydia giggling the entire time, and honestly, their joy was contagious!
We captured so many sweet, candid moments—Richard pulling Lydia in for a tight hug, Lydia tossing her head back in laughter, the two of them walking hand in hand through the park. These are the moments that make my heart happy, the real love stories that deserve to be captured and remembered forever.
