It's days like this one where all you want is a hot cup of cocoa and a warm blanket to snuggle up in when you live in Western NY. But instead Kristy, Don their cute little four legged friend and I headed out to the Niagara River to get some engagement portraits for their wedding coming up this September! 

I'm not going to lie... it was SUPER COLD! We stopped in between each little set and warmed up inside of our cars to power up to go back outside and it was totally worth it! Working with Kristy and Don was like working with two old friends. We joked around and had a ton of fun getting out and photographing. They were both completely receptive to all of the ideas I had and even jumped in to give some of their own ideas as well! 

You can totally tell how much they enjoy each others company just by looking through these portraits. There was hardly a frame where they weren't engaged in infectious laughter and smiles from ear to ear! Now that's saying something especially when it's so freaking cold your arms and legs start to go numb after being out for more than 5 minutes at a time! 

I had such a great time with these two and I'm super happy they got stopped at the light in front of my shop and gave me a call! I can't wait to see what their wedding day brings and all of the fun we will have together!
