As usual, I had such a great time visiting one of my oldest besties and her little dude down in Richmond, VA! We had a short but sweet little visit and I got to see so many of my friends - which is always amazing! PLUS I got to hang out with my Dad which was nice too. After about 3 day sin RVA, I headed up to DC and met up with my sister and her family to enjoy the area for the next few days!

We had a great hotel with a pool right near the National Mall and the kids had a blast! We went to see the Ford Theater, Lincoln’s Death House, the National Mall, Lincolns memorial, the White House and also go to hang out at the Natural History Museum!

Afer a few days in DC we traveled over the Baltimore MA and took the kiddos to the Aquarium.. if you’ve never been it is AHHHHH-Mazing and worth the trip! The kiddos loved it. Only bummer the dolphin show was not going on. Which is one of my favorite parts.

Next time I go to DC I hope the Air and Space Museum is open again as it was closed this time. I also really want to go check out Arlington where General Lee’s house was and then Washingtons estate. I love seeing houses in the same state that the people lived in them. Too cool!
